  • High Frequency RF and Microwave USB Programmable Signal Generators

LMS Series - Vaunix Technology Corporation

The Lab Brick LMS series of high frequency RF and microwave USB-compatible, synthesized signal generators cover a frequency range from 0.5 MHz - 20 GHz with low noise, fast 100-microsecond switching time, and fine 100 Hz frequency resolution. They require no additional DC supply voltage and offer advanced features such as phase-continuous linear-frequency sweeping, internal/external 10 MHz reference, and optional pulse modulation. GUI software can track and control several connected signal generators, simplifying multiple-signal test setups. Each device stores settings in internal memory, allowing it to power up in a specific instrument state.

  • Bolt Extensometers for Proof Load Testing

Model 3565 - Jinan Testing Equipment IE Corporation

The Model 3565 uses hard conical points to contact the bolt at the center of the head and at the bottom. It is fully adjustable for different length bolts ranging from 25 mm (1 inch) in length to 150 mm (6 inches) standard. Extension beams are available for longer bolts. The standard maximum measuring range is 1.25 mm (0.05 inches). Generally, on longer bolts this extensometer will be self-supported without requiring any centering marks or punch marks on the bolt. For shorter bolts these marks may be required. If the conical pins are sharp, marks are often not needed even on the shortest bolts. The extensometer has a zero adjustment screw to adjust the length between the contact pins. This is used to set the output voltage to zero, which corresponds to the correct starting position for the test. It also includes a breakaway lower arm. In the event a bolt should fail, the breakaway arm snaps free, helping to prevent damage to the extensometer. This is easily re-installed. In the event that bolt failures are likely during a test, it is recommended the user attach a cord around the upper part of the beam and tie the other end to the test frame to prevent the extensometer from falling. The conical point contacts included with the extensometer are made from tungsten carbide. The Model 3565 extensometers are strain gaged devices, making them compatible with any electronics designed for strain gaged transducers. Most often they are connected to a test machine controller. The signal conditioning electronics for the extensometer is typically included with the test machine controller or may often be added. In this case the extensometer is shipped with the proper connector and wiring to plug directly into the electronics. For systems lacking the required electronics, Epsilon can provide a variety of solutions, allowing the extensometer output to be connected to data acquisition boards, chart recorders or other equipment.

  • Floor Conductivity Tester Hand Crank

LA-1 HC - Walter G. Legge Company Inc.

LA-1 HC Floor Conductivity Tester Hand Crank is an easy-to-use meter developed for accurately testing the conductivity of floors and equipment. The LA- 1 must be used regularly to monitor proper conductivity with NFPA code # 99. Regular use of the LA-1 will establish and maintain procedures for the proper maintenance of conductive floors, eliminate fire hazards, and provide a static free environment. A hand crank AC type generator provides a rectified DC test potential. Additionally, there are no brushes to wear out. The LA-1 has an easy-to-read scale that is selectively expanded electronically to assure accurate readings over the entire range of the instrument and the scale has a length of 3.75. This is 42% longer than typical competitive testers. The LA-1 uses 500V DC to test the resistance (in ohms) between two points. (NFPA Code #99) The meter comes ready-to-use (tin foil must be applied to bottom of weights). Simply follow the instructions for use and instantly obtain an accurate measurement. Choose electric or hand powered model.

  • XDSL Testers

    GAO Tek Inc.

GAOTek offers a wide range of xDSL testers that are specifically manufactured to meet the requirement of xDSL testing, along with ADSL, ADSL2, ADSL2+, READSL, and VDSL for sale to the United States, Canada and Globally. They are mainly used by field operators for telecommunication installation, troubleshooting of xDSL network and maintenance. xDSL testers not only tests the physical structure but also evaluates whether the line is fit for xDSL service and consider the quality of service. The devices can be operated in “ATUR+PC” simulation without any external ADSL2+/VDSL2 modem or computer as they can be easily operated by digital multi-meter. These devices evaluate line quality, carry out PPPoE dial-up, suggest web page browsing to determine the connection to the ISP, and emulates a PC+ modem. These testing devices also help with PING, IP config, route and tracert tests. Moreover, these devices can also function as a computer for examining broadband IP lines or begin a PPPoE dial-up to determine IP network connection and troubleshooting a computer or modem issues.
